Module 4 · Layering
Music is built in layers. Each layer fills a different space in the sound. Your kick fills the low end, hi-hats fill the highs, and percussion adds texture and movement in between.
Think of it like painting: the kick is the canvas, the snare adds structure, the hi-hat adds detail, and percussion layers add colour and life.
